The Rio Metro Transit District has asked that EHHA relay information about a planned Bus route through Enchanted Hills. Click on the attachment to the right for a downloadable Adobe formatted file.
The Rio Metro Transit District serves Sandoval county with the Sandoval Easy Express Bus service and has a proposed bus service during the morning and evening commutes from Enchanted Hills to and from the US 550 Rail Runner station. This might enable residents to leave their cars at home, and ride the bus over to the Rail Runner Station.
The attached presentation describes the service and times it would operate. Please note that the times listed are for an upcoming Rail Runner schedule change which will be happening in February or March 2010. The new Rail Runner times will be officially confirmed and published in mid January.

Proposed Rio Metro Transit Bus Route & Info |
Traffic: Traffic & road construction information is available via the City's web site: www.ci.rio-rancho.nm.us. Look for the traffic update link on the main home page.
Voting: Your Vote DOES Matter! In 2009, only 3.6 percent of the City's 52,000 registered voters cast ballots. 1,006 voters approved and 844 voters opposed the bond. The low turnout resulted in the passing of a bond which included construction of Paseo del Volcan through Enchanted Hills!
March 2, 2010 = Municipal Elections in Rio Rancho! Affecting Enchanted Hills residents will be the Mayorial election (a 4-year term elected at-large) and Municipal Judge election (4-year term elected at-large). More information about the City is available at www.ci.rio-rancho.nm.us.

Enchanted Hills Neighborhood Association Signage
During the City Council meeting on Oct. 28, 2009, EHHA's President and Vice President presented the City a plaque in appreciation for their efforts to provide residents of Enchanted Hills with four locations of signage to promote the Association and awareness of various community events. The four signs are within the medians near the intersections of Enchanted Hills Blvd & Lincoln, Sprint & 550, Santa Fe Hills & 550, and Enchanted Hills Blvd & Chayote Road. Contractors and City crews completed this project during this past summer. For more information on its history, click here.
