Recycling 96-gallon recycle carts are available through Waste Management. These carts are picked up weekly by a Waste Management truck at no extra cost to residential customers. In Rio Rancho, items that can be recycled via these carts include: cans (aluminum & tin); cardboard; catalogs & magazines; junk mail; newspaper; paper bags; paper board; phone books; plastics #1-#7 (no plastic bags); stationery & copy paper (not shredded). To order a recycling cart or upgrade your small cart to the new large 96-gallon cart, call Waste Management at (505)892-1200.
