Join us! Meet your neighbors and let us help you with concerns specific to your area within Enchanted Hills and Rio Rancho.
Founded in 1998, EHHA is a non-governing neighborhood association including all areas located within Enchanted Hills subdivisons 1-14B and any other subdivisions that may be added to the Enchanted Hills’ group within northeast Rio Rancho. Membership is voluntary; despite its name, EHHA are not a traditional h.o.a.!
EHHA’s mission is to maintain or increase the personal and property values of the residents of Enchanted Hills by promoting community well being, protecting the environment, and uniting the community through social interaction.
Communication and good working relationships are fostered between EHHA and all community organizations including but not limited to State, County and City Governments for the purpose of evaluations of proposals, plans, and activities that may affect the community.
Current concerns include:
· Continued Paseo del Volcan involvement
· Noise along US 550
· Speed on Husky Drive NE
· Sports Complex North
Social activities enjoyed over the years include:
· Enchanted Hills “Night at the Scorpions”
· Annual Easter Egg Hunts (eleven so far!)
· Ice Cream Socials
· Fall BBQs (five so far!)
· Holiday Decorating Contests
Accomplishments and contributions to this community include:
· Input to governmental proposals on Paseo del Volcan
· Residents’ participation in Paseo del Volcan meetings
· Championing responsible design and construction of PdV through our community
· Input to governmental proposals on Northwest Loop
· Grayson Hills Drive NE bumpouts for park safety
· GSL Properties’ community involvement
· Widened ADA access to sidewalk along Mountain View Park
· Mountain View Park cleaning
· Supported requests for a skating park at Mountain View Park
· Supported requests for a dog park at Mountain View Park
· Supporting requests for a Sports Complex North
· Supporting requests for speed monitoring on Husky Drive NE
· Supporting requests for noise mitigation along US-550
· Enchanted Hills Neighborhood Association signage
· Hosting election year candidate forums
· Expanding website (www.ehha.us) to facilitate communication
Monthly meetings, 7:00 p.m. second Thursday of each month, include:
· Parliamentary setup
· Guest speakers
· Welcoming of new members
· Social events planning
· New and pertinent topics
Funding: EHHA annual dues ($24 per adult or household) and donations from local businesses.
