Our General Membership Meetings are always open to the public (renters and homeowners) and are held monthly, usually on the second Thursday from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. either at DPS Station #5 on Santa Fe Hills Blvd or Vista Grande Elementary School, both in Rio Rancho. Enchanted Hills is located in the northeast corner of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, just north of the City of Albuquerque. This area enjoys beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande Valley.
Founded in 1998, EHHA is a neighborhood association including all areas located within Enchanted Hills subdivisions 1 - 14B and any other subdivisions that may be added to the Enchanted Hills' group within northeast Rio Rancho, NM. The Association is nongoverning. Membership is voluntary and is open to homeowners and renters.
EHHA's mission is to maintain or increase the personal and property values of the residents of Enchanted Hills by promoting community well-being, protecting the environment, and uniting the community through social interaction. Communication and good working relationships are fostered between the EHHA Neighborhood Association and all community organizations including but not limited to State, County and City Governments for the purpose of evaluations of proposals, plans, and activities that may affect the community.
Current concerns include:
- Major highway construction (Paseo del Volcan) in Enchanted Hills
- 550 noise barriers
- Speed on neighborhood streets and roads
Social activities include:
- Annual Enchanted Hills night at the Santa Ana Star Center
- Annual Easter Egg Hunt
- Neighborhood parks & roadside cleaning
- Annual FREE neighborhood BBQ
- Annual Holiday Decorating Contest
Monthly meetings include:
- Guest speakers
- Welcoming of new members
- Social events planning
- Community action items
- Open discussion - Your concerns!
Meetings are 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., usually on the second Thursday of each month.
